Individual Sessions
for Teenagers

Adolescence is not an illness to be treated, but a delicate transition that deserves to be supported.

Therapeutic Approach

In the psychoanalytic practice, I offer teenagers a space for speech that is their own, distinct from that of their parents.

My clinical method meets the same rigorous standards as for adults, while adjusting to the rhythm and language of this age where the body, identity, and relationships all transform at once.

This is a non-negotiable principle: what is said in the practice belongs first and foremost to the teenagers themselves. I do not seek to correct behavior or to reassure at all costs, but to open a place where distress, often unformulated, can finally find its words.

Who is Psychoanalysis for?

These one-to-one sessions are open to all teenagers, whatever their background or the nature of their concerns.

People come for help with school-related anxiety, a difficult relationship with their body or sleep, a family conflict that has reached an impasse, or a friendship or first love that is affecting them more deeply than expected.

They also come to discuss issues of identity — relating to gender, sexual orientation or finding one’s place in the world — seeking to be heard without judgement so that they can come to terms with these issues.

No diagnosed disorder is required to seek counselling: adolescence distress rarely manifests itself immediately, and my practice exists so that these feelings can be expressed.
